A lot of tension is held in your shoulders. 3. Listening to music can help relieve stress. Put on some silly music that will allow you to have fun and lighten up. 4. I’m in high school and I have so much stress that my body rejected a mole from my head that I had to get removed because grey hair was growing out of it and there still is(more then ever).
@jrlovr88 if you have much stress from a drinking family member then you have identified the source of the problem in this case as outside yourself. Perhaps the drinking is even a symptom of other issues that person has? Can you talk to this person? Explain that you have noticed a lot of drinking and that it might be causing some negative behavior? Ask if there is anything you can help with?

I think you gave some really good adive. I also want to include that you should tell your dad that its beneficial for him to talk about problems with family, because it relieves a lot of stress. And laugh alot!

imagine in addition to what you are saying, add some asshole kids who bully you and make fun of you day in and day out. no you understand why them people go around shooting people. they lose it.
everyone around me are drug addicts (legal or illegal) zombies and selfish. and the government is harrassing me for 27 years can increase the stress also.

about every thing, i mean sure its good to keep your life on track but not to make your self sick about thinking about it all day. my mom is the same way, she over thinks thing to much. just let him know you care about him and that he shouldest get so stressed over, money problems, work, marriage, it all works out. you have to believe it will work. or else you will just go on worrying. its not simple
